Luna Nova – Lagoon 55 Catamaran Charter in the British Virgin Islands

Launched in 2024, Luna Nova is a Lagoon 55, one of the most spacious and comfortable catamarans in the British Virgin Islands. Based at Hodge’s Creek Marina on Tortola, she is the perfect yacht for a family or group of friends who want space, modern comfort and the easy, sheltered cruising the BVI are famous for.

Charter her as a bareboat if you are an experienced skipper, or let us add a professional skipper and chef so you can simply relax while The Baths, Norman Island, Anegada and Jost Van Dyke come to you.

🛏️ Accommodation

Luna Nova offers 4 spacious double cabins, each with its own en-suite bathroom with electric toilet, for up to 8 guests, plus 2 additional berths. Large hull windows bring in natural light, and superior cotton bedding with memory-foam mattress toppers is included. When you add a skipper and chef, they use the separate crew berths.

🌅 On Board

The bright saloon opens onto a large cockpit with a dining table for eight, while the foredeck lounge and flybridge are perfect for sunbathing and sundowners. Air conditioning, a generator, a watermaker, a dishwasher and a washing machine make life on board as comfortable as a villa.

  • Air conditioning and generator
  • Watermaker, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and freezer
  • Wi-Fi, TV, outdoor speakers and underwater lights
  • Hard-top bimini, teak cockpit, bathing platform and outdoor shower
  • Electric winches, bow thruster, autopilot and AIS

🌊 Tender & Water Fun

A dinghy on a hydraulic lift takes you ashore to empty beaches and beach bars, and snorkelling equipment and extra beach towels are included for exploring the reefs of the BVI.

Where to Cruise

From Tortola, the whole of the British Virgin Islands is within easy reach: the sea caves of Norman Island, the RMS Rhone wreck, the granite boulders of The Baths, the coral island of Anegada and the beach bars of Jost Van Dyke. Read our British Virgin Islands yacht charter guide for a day-by-day sample week, or combine your charter with the US Virgin Islands.

Getting There

Hodge’s Creek Marina is a short drive from Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport on Beef Island (EIS). Many guests also fly into St Thomas in the US Virgin Islands and take a ferry to Tortola. Check our Caribbean entry requirements guide before you fly.
