Cabins and Accommodation on Motor Yacht Morning Star

Morning Star sleeps 10 guests in a full-beam master suite, two double cabins and two convertible cabins. The crew services the cabins daily while you are on deck or ashore.

Life on Board: Style, Space and Performance

The exterior decks of Morning Star are designed for the Mediterranean summer: a sun deck with loungers and panoramic views, shaded al fresco dining on the aft deck and a peaceful bow lounge. Inside, the saloon offers air-conditioned comfort and entertainment for the evenings. The crew takes care of everything – from the swim platform and water toys to tender runs ashore.

A motor yacht gives you freedom: the captain can move quickly between bays to follow the wind and the sun, avoid crowds and reach islands that are out of range for slower boats. Your days are planned around you – late breakfasts, long swims, a visit to an ancient site or a dinner reservation ashore.

Gourmet Dining on Morning Star

Food is one of the highlights of a private yacht charter in Turkey. On board Morning Star, the chef prepares fresh, seasonal menus with ingredients bought daily from local markets. Breakfast can be a traditional Turkish spread – village cheeses, olives, tomatoes and cucumbers, honey and clotted cream (kaymak), menemen and eggs cooked to order, served with Turkish tea – or a continental breakfast if you prefer.

Lunch at anchor brings colourful Aegean mezes, salads and grilled fish such as sea bass or sea bream, while dinners range from slow-cooked lamb and kebabs to Mediterranean fusion dishes, finished with baklava, seasonal fruit and Turkish coffee. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal and children’s menus are all available on request, and the bar can be stocked with your favourite wines, rakı, champagne and cocktails.

Famous Restaurants Along the Coast – Ashore by Tender

A private yacht lets you combine meals on board with dinners at some of the most famous restaurants on the Turkish Riviera. The captain anchors close to shore and the crew takes you there by tender. Around Bodrum, favourites include Yalıkavak Marina (home to Nusr-Et, Zuma and Sakhalin), the fishing village of Gümüşlük and chic Türkbükü with Macakızı. Near Marmaris and Datça, guests love the fish restaurants of Selimiye and Söğüt and the restaurants of D-Maris Bay, while around Göcek and Fethiye you can dine at Özcan in Göcek, D’Breeze at D-Resort or bay restaurants reached only by sea. Aren Yachting can reserve your tables in advance – essential in July and August.

Where to Cruise with Morning Star

Morning Star cruises Turkey and the Greek islands. Her charters usually start from Göcek, and routes to the Greek islands such as Kos, Rhodes and Symi are possible on request. A popular one-week itinerary from Göcek could look like this:

  • Day 1 – Göcek: Embark at Göcek marina, meet the crew and enjoy a first swim stop before dinner at anchor.
  • Day 2 – Yassıca Islands & Göbün: Island-hop between the pine-covered Yassıca islets and swim in the turquoise shallows.
  • Day 3 – Tersane & Kapı Creek: Snorkel around the old shipyard ruins of Tersane Island and spend a quiet night in Kapı Creek.
  • Day 4 – Gemiler Island: Explore the Byzantine ruins of St. Nicholas Island and swim in its clear water.
  • Day 5 – Ölüdeniz & Butterfly Valley: Cruise past the famous Blue Lagoon and anchor beneath the cliffs of Butterfly Valley.
  • Day 6 – Fethiye & Boynuz Bükü: Visit the market town of Fethiye, then relax in a sheltered bay for the evening.
  • Day 7 – Bedri Rahmi & Sarsala: Swim in two of the most photographed bays of the Göcek coast.
  • Day 8 – Göcek: Breakfast on board and disembarkation in the morning.
