Cabins and Accommodation on Motorsailer King of the Sea
King of the Sea sleeps up to 22 guests in ten en-suite cabins: eight double cabins and two triple cabins, perfect for families travelling with children. As a 2025 build, every cabin is fresh and modern, with warm wood, soft lighting, generous storage and stylish bathrooms – the comfort of a boutique hotel on a private luxury yacht charter in Turkey.

Life on Board: Space for the Whole Group
Life on board revolves around her huge outdoor spaces. The shaded aft deck hosts a long dining table for all 22 guests, so the whole group can share breakfast and dinner together, while the bar and lounge areas are perfect for sunset drinks. Up top, the sundeck offers sunbeds, a Jacuzzi and panoramic views over the bays, and the swim platform makes it easy to slip into the sea with the paddleboard, canoe or jet skis.
A professional crew of nine looks after every detail – from the captain who knows every hidden cove of the Aegean to the chef who prepares fresh Turkish and Mediterranean menus three times a day.

Turkish Cuisine and Dining on King of the Sea
Turkish cuisine is one of the highlights of a gulet charter in Turkey. On board King of the Sea, the chef prepares fresh, home-style dishes with ingredients bought daily in local markets in Bodrum, Marmaris, Göcek and Fethiye. Each day starts with a traditional Turkish breakfast – fresh simit and bread, village cheeses, olives, tomatoes and cucumbers, honey and clotted cream (kaymak), menemen and eggs cooked to order, served with Turkish tea.
Lunch at anchor brings colourful Aegean mezes – haydari, ezme, stuffed vine leaves, smoky aubergine and olive-oil vegetables – followed by grilled sea bass or sea bream, octopus or chicken şiş. Dinners under the stars feature slow-cooked lamb, kebabs and the catch of the day, finished with baklava, seasonal fruit and Turkish coffee. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal, kosher-friendly and children’s menus are all available on request, and the bar can be stocked with your favourite wines, rakı, champagne and cocktails.
Famous Restaurants Along the Coast – Ashore by Tender
A private yacht lets you combine meals on board with dinners at some of the most famous restaurants on the Turkish Riviera. The captain anchors close to shore and the crew takes you there by tender, waits or returns at the agreed time and brings you back for a late swim or a nightcap on deck. Around Bodrum, favourites include Yalıkavak Marina (home to Nusr-Et, Zuma and Sakhalin), the fishing village of Gümüşlük with seafront fish restaurants such as Mimoza, and chic Türkbükü with Macakızı. Near Marmaris and Datça, guests love the fish restaurants of Selimiye such as Sardunya, Manzara in Söğüt and the restaurants of D-Maris Bay, while around Göcek and Fethiye you can dine at Özcan in Göcek, D’Breeze at D-Resort or Adaia, a bay restaurant reached only by sea.
Many quiet bays in Gökova, Hisarönü and the Göcek islands also have small family-run restaurants with their own jetties, serving fresh fish, gözleme and village dishes. Aren Yachting can reserve your tables in advance – essential in July and August – and plan your route so that every evening ends at the right spot. Restaurant availability depends on the season and reservations.
Where to Cruise: Bodrum, Marmaris, Göcek and Fethiye
King of the Sea can start your charter from Bodrum, Marmaris, Göcek or Fethiye. From Bodrum, cruise the pine-fringed bays of the Gökova Gulf and Cleopatra Island; from Marmaris, explore the Hisarönü Gulf, Selimiye, Bozburun and Datça; from Göcek and Fethiye, discover the Twelve Islands, Butterfly Valley and the Lycian coast. Routes to the Greek islands – Kos, Rhodes and Symi – are possible on request. A popular one-week Aegean charter follows our Bodrum – Gökova blue voyage:
- Day 1 – Bodrum: Embark in the afternoon, welcome drinks and dinner on board in view of Bodrum Castle.
- Day 2 – Orak Island & Çökertme: Swim in the crystal water around Orak Island, then anchor in the sheltered bay of Çökertme, famous for its seaside restaurants.
- Day 3 – Seven Islands & English Harbour: Explore green islets and quiet coves on the southern shore of the gulf.
- Day 4 – Sedir (Cleopatra) Island: Walk on the legendary golden sand of Cleopatra Island, then anchor in pine-shaded Karacasöğüt.
- Day 5 – Longoz & Tuzla Bay: Forested bays for swimming, paddleboarding and sunset drinks on deck.
- Day 6 – Kisebükü: Swim beside the ruins of an ancient church in one of the most atmospheric bays of the gulf.
- Day 7 – Yalıçiftlik & Pabuç Burnu: Final swim stops on the way back to the Bodrum peninsula.
- Day 8 – Bodrum: Breakfast on board and disembarkation in the morning.
