Turkey's 4 Most Beautiful Blue Cruise Routes
The one who knows the guleti knows. It is a wooden boat native to the Mediterranean coast of Turkey. Although it was previously used for transportation and fishing, since the 1950s, under the leadership of Halikarnas Fisherman, a group of academics and intellectuals, including Azra Erhat and Sabahttin Eyüboglu, have been used as yachts on their blue voyages and books have been written about it, and turkey's gulle blue cruise routes have also emerged.
These blue routes, which are mostly popular with westerners and the rich, are like paradises. Today, Gulet tours are available for every budget. The blue journey with Gulet is not something you can tell. You have to live. Once you get used to it, you'll never give up. The Blue Journey with Gulet season begins at the end of April and ends at the end of October. The best time is between June and August. I have put together the best blue cruise routes in Turkey for the Traveling Crew. Since the 1990s, I have compiled the blue cruise routes below for you from the gulet tours I also went to as a tourist guide. I hope you enjoy it and one day you'll have the opportunity to go.
Fethiye – Marmaris
It is a blue route to and from Fethiye or Marmaris. For a long blue trip, you can make a round trip in the form of a week. One way is four days. There are numerous bays and islands in Fethiye bay and Gocek bays. Swimming breaks in clear waveless waters are the most comfortable blue route with snorkeling and water sports activities up to your feet. A great option for a gulet yacht holiday, with swimming breaks in Gocek bays and islands, Ekincik bay and Marmaris bays on this blue route, and especially the smell of pine and thyme that comes with the breeze from the small bays and mountains that are docked for overnight stay. On this route, you can visit the ancient city of Kaunos and the rock tombs of the Karians with a boat tour of the delta formed by the Dalyan river and surrounded by reeds. The nearest airport for this route is Dalaman. Marmaris – Datca – Marmaris
The datca peninsula extends from marmaris bay to the Aegean. It separates the gulfs of Gokova and Marmaris like a sword. This route varies depending on weather and wind conditions. The starting and ending place is Marmaris. The nearest airport is in Dalaman. It is a blue cruise route of about a week. Along this blue route from Marmaris bay to Hisaronu bay and the ancient city of Knidos at the western end of the Datca peninsula, you can visit the ruins of Farm bay, Broken Castle (Ancient Loryma), Kocaada, Bencik and Kargi bays, Datça, Kizilada, Bozburun, Kadirga, Kumlubuk and Knidos, the most interesting ancient city of the Karya region. From the beach next to the ancient theatre, you can swim in the cool waters of the Southern Aegean.
Bodrum – Gokova – Bodrum
It is the best known blue route due to the popularity of Istanbul society. It starts in Bodrum and ends in Bodrum again. It's a pretty comfortable route. You spend most of your time swimming on the slightly wobbly Gulet and in the calm waters of gokova bay, one of the best gulfs in Turkey. It is a route where teal meets forest green and is separated from each other by precise lines. Some programs also cover the ruins of Knidos, at the westernmost tip of the Datca peninsula. On this route, you can spend from 4 days to 7 days according to the schedule. The nearest airport was BodrumChagzi (Demre) – Fethiye
This route starts from both Demre Çayagzi and Fethiye. The nearest airport to Çayagzi is in Antalya and Dalaman Airport for Fethiye. The most beautiful place along the route is kekova bays and island. Kaleköy, where the ancient Simena ruins are located, is especially worth a visit. You can also see the remains buried underwater from the boat. In addition to swimming breaks in different small bays during the blue voyage, it can be visited in Kalkan and Kas. It's usually a comfortable route, but you also have to risk a long trip. Around Patara, the coast is a flat beach, and the gulet has to go offshore. The outside of this is quite comfortable and a good blue cruise. Although it varies according to the schedule and time, you can also visit the bay where the pumpkin bay and butterfly valley are located. After arriving in Fethiye and crossing Oludeniz, Gemiler island is a great place. Get off the boat and I suggest you take a tour of this small island, which also contains the ruins of an ancient Byzantine church.
