The Lagoon 42 is as carefully thought out as it is solidly built. Lagoon 42's deck is incredibly spacious. The cabin compartment is rounded and fitted with ingeniously shaped steps with plenty of stainless steel handles on the left and right sides. The front nets have enough room to contain everything from lounging to a sail bed, which is a distinct advantage in the warmer climate areas for which this boat is typically designed. There is one service boat on board for close cruising.

The cockpit is designed in an elegant, semi-circular array that aligns beautifully with the lounge arrangement inside full-height clear polycarbonate sliding doors. The navigation area includes an important compartment for instrumentation, along with a dedicated swivel seat.

Having a 600 liter fuel tank, a 600 liter water tank and two 57 hp engines, the boat also has an Autopilot control option. There is a design wonder cockpit table with cockpit cushions that complement each other. The cockpit fridge and freezer provide convenient cooling for groceries and beverages. Bluetooth-connected indoor and outdoor speakers produce sound of unmatched quality.

The inside of the boat is warm, sociable and well ventilated. The cabin opens to a spacious head area. The living room and kitchen are designed together for more space and harmony. An L-shaped sofa also serves as a seat for the beautifully thought out, outward-facing navigation station.

A minimum of four cabins, a maximum of six cabins, four bathrooms, and eight to twelve bunk beds make the boat perfect for small groups who want a little more space, or medium-sized groups who seek tremendous value. Eight to twelve people can sleep comfortably in this elegant interior.

The U-shaped kitchen includes generous fridge space, sink area and counter space. It is skillfully equipped with a microwave, three-burner stove and electric oven to meet all cooking needs. A built-in sink and faucet are fitted to starboard for complete convenience. There is also a coffee machine and an isotherm refrigerator for the port, making you feel right at home.

Well-crafted lockers, smooth sliding drawers, and spaces under bunk beds and sofas comprehensively take care of storage. There is ample space suitable for all conditions. The fresh water tank with a capacity of 131 gallons serves with two 12-gallon hot water tanks.

Sailing with the Lagoon 42 is a pleasure. In addition, the 2×57 hp Yanmar engine can take this boat up to 16 knots.
