Planning a gulet rental in Göcek is exciting, but it helps to understand how pricing and logistics work before you start comparing yachts. Unlike a hotel, where you pay per room per night, a gulet is rented as a whole yacht for a full week, together with its captain and crew. The weekly price depends on the size, age and level of luxury of the gulet, the time of year and the services you add. In this guide we explain, clearly and honestly, what a Göcek gulet costs in 2027, what is included, what costs extra, and how a typical charter week runs from check-in to check-out.

Göcek is one of the most popular gulet bases in Turkey because it combines a very short transfer from Dalaman Airport with the sheltered beauty of the Twelve Islands. It is home to a wide range of gulets, from simple, great-value family boats to elegant motorsailers, so whatever your budget, there are excellent options available. Our team knows the Göcek fleet personally and works only with gulets whose crews we trust.

2027 Göcek Gulet Rental Prices

Gulet typeSizeCabins / guestsWeekly price (whole yacht)
Classic gulet22–26 m4–6 / 8–12€6,500–€12,000
Family gulet28–34 m6–8 / 12–16€14,000–€27,000
Large gulet35–43 m7–8 / 14–16€24,000–€32,000
Luxury motorsailer33–42 m5–6 / 10–12€47,000–€60,000+

These figures are guides for the high season of July and August; prices in May, June, September and October are often 20–40% lower. Because the price covers the entire yacht, the cost per person becomes very attractive when you fill all the cabins. For example, a 30-metre, eight-cabin gulet for sixteen guests at around €18,000 per week works out at just over €1,100 per person for a week of accommodation, crew service and cruising – before food and drinks.

Check-in and Check-out Times

A typical weekly gulet rental in Göcek begins on Saturday at around 15:00 at one of the Göcek marinas and ends the following Saturday at around 10:00, again in Göcek. If your flight arrives early, we can store your luggage and recommend restaurants in town while the crew prepares the yacht; if you land late, we can arrange a late check-in or a hotel for the first night. One-way charters – for example from Göcek to Fethiye, Kaş or Marmaris – are also possible with a repositioning fee, as are shorter charters outside the peak season.

What Is Included in the Price?

  • Exclusive use of the gulet for seven nights
  • Professional captain, chef and deckhands
  • Fuel for a normal cruising itinerary (around 4–5 hours per day)
  • Bed linen, towels and daily cleaning
  • Water toys such as paddleboards, kayaks and snorkelling gear
  • Insurance of the yacht and crew

What Costs Extra?

Food is usually arranged as a full-board package of around €60–€90 per person per day, covering breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner prepared fresh by the chef. Drinks are charged at on-board prices or can be pre-ordered. If you choose to spend nights in marinas or at restaurant jetties, mooring fees may apply – Göcek has several modern marinas, and some bays charge a small fee for mooring at restaurant pontoons. Airport transfers, extra cruising hours and a crew gratuity of around 10% are also additional. Our Göcek mooring fee guide explains marina costs in more detail.

Tips for Booking the Best Göcek Gulet

The best Göcek gulets for July and August are often fully booked by early spring, so we recommend starting your search six to nine months ahead. Think carefully about cabin configuration – families often prefer a mix of double and twin cabins – and ask about air-conditioning hours, water toys and whether the chef can cater for any dietary needs. Your personal advisor will send a short list of the most suitable gulets with honest notes on each one. Read our main Göcek gulet charter guide to learn more about the area.
