Albatros B – Spacious 20 m Gulet with 7 m Beam, 4 Cabins and Huge Sun Decks
If deck space is your priority, Albatros B is hard to beat. With an unusually wide 7-metre beam, this 20-metre gulet offers sprawling sun decks, a big shaded dining area and four air-conditioned double cabins for eight guests – the feel of a much larger yacht at the price of a 4 cabin gulet.
A crew of three looks after the sailing, cooking and service, leaving you free to swim, sunbathe and explore. Based in Bodrum, Albatros B is perfect for active groups of friends and families who love to spread out, play music on deck and enjoy a lively, sociable blue cruise in Turkey.

Cabins and Accommodation on Gulet Albatros B
Albatros B has four double cabins finished in light wood, each with air conditioning and a modern en-suite shower room. A central corridor keeps the layout simple, and generous storage means everyone can unpack properly for a full week on this Bodrum gulet charter.

Life on Board: Room to Spread Out
Thanks to her 7-metre beam, Albatros B has one of the largest sunbathing areas among 4-cabin gulets – rows of cushions on the foredeck and more on the aft deck, so nobody ever has to compete for a spot in the sun.
Meals are served at a long table under the aft-deck awning, with sea views on three sides. In the evenings the deck becomes a lounge for music, drinks and conversation long after dinner.

Turkish Cuisine and Dining on Albatros B
Turkish cuisine is one of the highlights of a gulet charter in Turkey. On board Albatros B, the chef prepares fresh, home-style dishes with ingredients bought daily in local markets in Bodrum, Marmaris, Göcek and Fethiye. Each day starts with a traditional Turkish breakfast – fresh simit and bread, village cheeses, olives, tomatoes and cucumbers, honey and clotted cream (kaymak), menemen and eggs cooked to order, served with Turkish tea.
Lunch at anchor brings colourful Aegean mezes – haydari, ezme, stuffed vine leaves, smoky aubergine and olive-oil vegetables – followed by grilled sea bass or sea bream, octopus or chicken şiş. Dinners under the stars feature slow-cooked lamb, kebabs and the catch of the day, finished with baklava, seasonal fruit and Turkish coffee. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal, kosher-friendly and children’s menus are all available on request, and the bar can be stocked with your favourite wines, rakı, champagne and cocktails.
Famous Restaurants Along the Coast – Ashore by Tender
A private yacht lets you combine meals on board with dinners at some of the most famous restaurants on the Turkish Riviera. The captain anchors close to shore and the crew takes you there by tender, waits or returns at the agreed time and brings you back for a late swim or a nightcap on deck. Around Bodrum, favourites include Yalıkavak Marina (home to Nusr-Et, Zuma and Sakhalin), the fishing village of Gümüşlük with seafront fish restaurants such as Mimoza, and chic Türkbükü with Macakızı. Near Marmaris and Datça, guests love the fish restaurants of Selimiye such as Sardunya, Manzara in Söğüt and the restaurants of D-Maris Bay, while around Göcek and Fethiye you can dine at Özcan in Göcek, D’Breeze at D-Resort or Adaia, a bay restaurant reached only by sea.
Many quiet bays in Gökova, Hisarönü and the Göcek islands also have small family-run restaurants with their own jetties, serving fresh fish, gözleme and village dishes. Aren Yachting can reserve your tables in advance – essential in July and August – and plan your route so that every evening ends at the right spot. Restaurant availability depends on the season and reservations.
Where to Cruise: Bodrum to Knidos and Datça
Albatros B starts from her home port of Bodrum, with Göcek, Marmaris or Fethiye departures on request. We recommend a week towards Knidos and the Datça peninsula, mixing ancient ruins, fishing villages and some of the clearest water in the Aegean. A sample week follows our Bodrum – Knidos – Datça peninsula itinerary:
- Day 1 – Bodrum: Board in the afternoon in Bodrum harbour, meet the crew and enjoy dinner on deck below the castle.
- Day 2 – Karaada & Akvaryum Bay: Swim at the hot springs of Karaada and in the clear water of Aquarium Bay before an evening at anchor.
- Day 3 – Knidos: Cross to the ancient city of Knidos at the tip of the Datça peninsula and explore its temples and theatre at sunset.
- Day 4 – Palamutbükü: Long pebble beach, fish restaurants and a lazy afternoon of swimming and paddleboarding.
- Day 5 – Datça: Stroll the harbour town of Datça, famous for almonds, honey and thyme, and visit Eski Datça.
- Day 6 – Mersincik: A remote, pine-backed bay with turquoise water – perfect for snorkelling.
- Day 7 – Kargı & Bodrum peninsula: Final swim stops on the way back towards Bodrum.
- Day 8 – Bodrum: Breakfast on board and disembarkation in the morning.
