At Aren Yachting, we believe that a perfect gulet holiday begins long before the sails are raised. From the moment our guests arrive at the harbor to the first gentle movement of the yacht, every step is carefully planned to ensure comfort, clarity, and a seamless start to the journey.
Meeting at the Yacht: The Beginning of the Experience
Weekly gulet cruises typically begin at the designated marina, where our guests meet directly on board their gulet. This meeting point is clearly communicated in advance, allowing guests to arrive relaxed and well-prepared. Our team is present at the harbor to welcome guests and assist with the initial boarding process.

Arrival, Transfers, and Boarding at the Gulet
When our guests arrive at the airport, they are free to arrange their own transfers and travel directly to the gulet’s location. For those who prefer a more seamless experience, the Aren Yachting team is always available to assist with private transfer arrangements upon request.
We meet our guests at the marina, where the journey truly begins. Our standard gulet check-in time is 16:00 (4:00 PM). However, depending on the yacht’s availability and operational schedule, it may be possible to offer an earlier boarding time—such as 13:00, 14:00, or 15:00. Any adjustment to the boarding time is discussed and confirmed with our guests at least one day in advance, ensuring clear communication and proper planning.
Due to the busy nature of Bodrum Marina and other popular ports, locating the exact yacht position can sometimes be challenging. To make the arrival process effortless, we share the precise meeting location with our guests before arrival. Upon reaching the marina, our local team personally welcomes guests, assists with luggage handling, and escorts them safely to their gulet.
From the first greeting at the harbor to the moment guests step on board, our priority is to provide a smooth, organized, and welcoming start to their gulet holiday. At Aren Yachting, every detail is managed with care so our guests can relax and focus on enjoying the experience ahead.

Onboard Briefing and Preparing to Set Sail
Once our guests step on board, they are welcomed with a comprehensive briefing about the gulet and life at sea. The captain and crew introduce themselves, creating an immediate sense of trust and familiarity. During this briefing, essential information about the yacht, onboard facilities, and safety procedures is clearly explained.
The captain then presents the planned cruising route, outlining the journey ahead and introducing the bays and anchorages we will visit throughout the week. This moment allows guests to fully understand the rhythm of the voyage and to share any preferences or special requests.
Before departure, we also review any remaining needs. If there are missing provisions—such as specific beverages, pharmacy items, or essentials requested by our guests—we organize and complete these arrangements efficiently. Our goal is to ensure that everything is in place before leaving the harbor.
Once all preparations are finalized, the necessary clearance is obtained from the harbor master. With all formalities completed, we officially begin our weekly gulet cruise, setting sail toward a relaxed and unforgettable blue voyage.

A Thoughtful Handover and a Warm Farewell
As the Aren Yachting team, once we have safely introduced our guests to the captain and crew and ensured everyone is comfortably settled on board, we entrust you to our experienced onboard team. At this stage, all remaining documentation and provisioning arrangements are finalized with care and precision.
