Azura – 24 m Sailing Gulet with 2 Master Suites and 4 Cabins in Bodrum
Azura is a 24-metre gulet built in 2012 that actually loves to sail. With full rigging, twin 240 HP engines and a cruising speed of around 11 knots, she covers more coastline than most 4-cabin gulets – yet inside she is pure comfort, with two master suites and two double cabins for eight guests, all air-conditioned.
Her larger size means more deck, more space in the cabins and a smoother ride. Azura is ideal for guests who want the room of a bigger yacht with the privacy and value of a 4 cabin gulet charter from Bodrum, and who would love to see the sails go up on a breezy afternoon.

Cabins and Accommodation on Gulet Azura
Two of Azura’s cabins are master suites with extra floor space and large beds, while the two double cabins are equally well finished. Every cabin has air conditioning and an en-suite bathroom – excellent comfort for two families or four couples on a luxury gulet holiday in Turkey.

Life on Board: Space, Speed and Real Sailing
At 24 metres, Azura gives eight guests a remarkable amount of room. The aft deck holds a full dining table and lounge seating under a large awning, while the foredeck sun pads stretch almost to the bow.
When the afternoon meltem wind fills in, the crew can hoist the sails for a quiet, engine-off passage – a highlight for many guests. Evenings end at anchor with dinner on deck and a sky full of stars.

Turkish Cuisine and Dining on Azura
Turkish cuisine is one of the highlights of a gulet charter in Turkey. On board Azura, the chef prepares fresh, home-style dishes with ingredients bought daily in local markets in Bodrum, Marmaris, Göcek and Fethiye. Each day starts with a traditional Turkish breakfast – fresh simit and bread, village cheeses, olives, tomatoes and cucumbers, honey and clotted cream (kaymak), menemen and eggs cooked to order, served with Turkish tea.
Lunch at anchor brings colourful Aegean mezes – haydari, ezme, stuffed vine leaves, smoky aubergine and olive-oil vegetables – followed by grilled sea bass or sea bream, octopus or chicken şiş. Dinners under the stars feature slow-cooked lamb, kebabs and the catch of the day, finished with baklava, seasonal fruit and Turkish coffee. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal, kosher-friendly and children’s menus are all available on request, and the bar can be stocked with your favourite wines, rakı, champagne and cocktails.
Famous Restaurants Along the Coast – Ashore by Tender
A private yacht lets you combine meals on board with dinners at some of the most famous restaurants on the Turkish Riviera. The captain anchors close to shore and the crew takes you there by tender, waits or returns at the agreed time and brings you back for a late swim or a nightcap on deck. Around Bodrum, favourites include Yalıkavak Marina (home to Nusr-Et, Zuma and Sakhalin), the fishing village of Gümüşlük with seafront fish restaurants such as Mimoza, and chic Türkbükü with Macakızı. Near Marmaris and Datça, guests love the fish restaurants of Selimiye such as Sardunya, Manzara in Söğüt and the restaurants of D-Maris Bay, while around Göcek and Fethiye you can dine at Özcan in Göcek, D’Breeze at D-Resort or Adaia, a bay restaurant reached only by sea.
Many quiet bays in Gökova, Hisarönü and the Göcek islands also have small family-run restaurants with their own jetties, serving fresh fish, gözleme and village dishes. Aren Yachting can reserve your tables in advance – essential in July and August – and plan your route so that every evening ends at the right spot. Restaurant availability depends on the season and reservations.
Where to Cruise: Bodrum, Knidos and Datça
Azura is based in Bodrum and can also start from Göcek, Marmaris or Fethiye on request. Her speed makes the Bodrum – Knidos – Datça loop easy and relaxed, with time for Aquarium Bay, Palamutbükü and Mersincik. A sample week follows our Bodrum – Knidos – Datça peninsula itinerary:
- Day 1 – Bodrum: Board in the afternoon in Bodrum harbour, meet the crew and enjoy dinner on deck below the castle.
- Day 2 – Karaada & Akvaryum Bay: Swim at the hot springs of Karaada and in the clear water of Aquarium Bay before an evening at anchor.
- Day 3 – Knidos: Cross to the ancient city of Knidos at the tip of the Datça peninsula and explore its temples and theatre at sunset.
- Day 4 – Palamutbükü: Long pebble beach, fish restaurants and a lazy afternoon of swimming and paddleboarding.
- Day 5 – Datça: Stroll the harbour town of Datça, famous for almonds, honey and thyme, and visit Eski Datça.
- Day 6 – Mersincik: A remote, pine-backed bay with turquoise water – perfect for snorkelling.
- Day 7 – Kargı & Bodrum peninsula: Final swim stops on the way back towards Bodrum.
- Day 8 – Bodrum: Breakfast on board and disembarkation in the morning.
